Appleby Tennis Club has 6 lighted asphalt courts, a Clubhouse, practice wall and convenient parking. During the 2011/12 season, four courts were reconstructed - thanks to an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant. This is the second OTF grant Appleby has received, the first grant in 2002 replaced the outdated lighting system.
We are located at the east end of Nelson Park in Burlington, Ontario. Access is from Longmoor Drive, beside Pauline Johnson Public School. There is a shared driveway that leads to the courts.
Memberships are required and there are NO court fees. For more details, please click here. Income from the membership fees are used to maintain the Club, retain a Club Pro, pay for groundskeeping and events. Members are encouraged to participate as volunteers in whatever capacity they can.
Now is the time to sign up for the year end tournaments. Don't wait and miss out on all the fun including our famous tournament finals BBQ

The court lights can be turned on manually after 7:00pm, as needed, and are set to turn off at 11:00pm. However, in order to reduce hydro usage, we ask members to turn the lights off if they finish playing say after 9:00 or 10:00pm or so, and there is no-one waiting.
