Welcome to Appleby Tennis Club

Appleby Tennis Club is an incorporated, non-profit summer tennis club with an elected Board of Directors. The Club has been run by volunteers for over 45 years.

Facilities: Appleby Tennis Club has 6 lighted asphalt courts, a Clubhouse, practice wall and convenient parking. During the 2011/12 season, four courts were reconstructed - thanks to an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant . This is the second OTF grant Appleby has received, the first grant in 2002 replaced the outdated lighting system.

Location: We are located at the east end of Nelson Park in Burlington, Ontario. Access is from Longmoor Drive, beside Pauline Johnson Public School. There is a shared driveway that leads to the courts.

Membership: Memberships are required and there are NO court fees. For more details, please click here. Income from the membership fees are used to maintain the Club, retain a Club Pro, pay for groundskeeping and events. Members are encouraged to participate as volunteers in whatever capacity they can.

Court Update !!
Our court contractor has ATC first on the list of projects to be completed.
Painting of the courts will begin as soon as the temperature stays consistently above freezing. Weather permitting, we are looking at the courts being ready to use by mid-May.
Until then, courts 1 and 2 are available for standard booking time slots
