Welcome to the 2010 tennis season at Appleby Tennis Club

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Appleby Tennis Club, I would like to welcome all
new and returning members.

Spring is on its way and we look forward to hitting the courts playing tennis, renewing friendships
with other members and heading outside for the fun and exercise that tennis provides.

We are fortunate to have Alex Benyi returning as our club pro and manager this year. 
In addition to coaching, Alex will also be providing some free clinics for both new and returning members.
He will also be coordinating Monday night round robins and club tournaments.

There will be two registration dates at the clubhouse this year.  They will be Sunday
April 11 and Sunday April 25 from 1:00pm to 3:30pm.  House league players must register in
person on one of these dates.  Please see the note below.

It is important to note that the club is run by volunteers. Without the volunteers
there would be no club. When completing the membership form, please use the spot
provided to advise of any way you are available to assist the club.

I encourage you to complete the registration forms along with the membership fees by May 1.

Please note: The House Leagues are very popular, and the available spaces are filled

on a first-come-first-served basis.

In order to ensure that all members have an equal opportunity to register

for the House Leagues, there will be NO pre-registration and mail-in registrations

for the House Leagues will NOT be accepted.

Therefore, if you wish to participate in the House Leagues,

YOU must register IN PERSON, (someone can register for you),

during the registration dates (April 11 or April 25, from 1:00 – 3:30 pm),

at the clubhouse, or in person with the House League contact before May 1.
